This introductory session provides an overview of the federally qualified health center (FQHC) model, including how health centers are funded, how the financial model supports comprehensive primary care, and why interprofessional teams are essential to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Participants will leave with a foundational understanding of how financial sustainability, workforce, and clinical services work together to improve access and health outcomes in communities.

Participation may be applied toward the Interprofessional Honors Distinction application to earn a nationally recognized digital credential that highlights students’ collaborative team skills for excellence in clinical and community practice. All ɫ��ɫ���� students are welcome to apply. All requirements must be complete prior to March 1 of students’ graduating year:
