Judy Kimball presents on sensory processing at two events in San Diego

Judy Kimball, Ph.D., OTR/L, FAOTA, professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy recently presented at two events in San Diego, California.

On April 25, 2013, Kimball conducted a three-hour workshop with her daughter, who is the supervisor of occupational therapy at the Tamps VA Hospital, where Kimball was appointed a research associate.  The presentation was titled 鈥淚dentifying and intervening in the sensory processing aspects of post-traumatic stress disorder:  Help for our veterans.鈥

Kimball was invited to speak on April 27th, at the Sensory Integration Special Interest Section Annual Program.  She presented 鈥淯se of complementary and alternative sensory-based interventions鈥擟linical reasoning and relation to sensory integration intervention.鈥
