Susan Jarmuz-Smith begins year-long Academic Differentiation Workshop Series for Brunswick Teachers

Susan Jarmuz-Smith, MS, BCBA, assistant lecturer in psychology, and Dr. Kristina Andren, NCSP, began a series of workshops for K-5 teachers in the Brunswick School District about academic differentiation.

The first workshop focused on the general principles, and upcoming workshops will include sessions on ongoing assessment and flexible classroom management to support the implementation of academic differentiation.

The year-long series of professional development for educators also includes an Online Professional Learning Community, monthly coaching sessions, and a 100-page workbook created by Jarmuz-Smith and Andren specifically for the Brunswick teachers as they master academic differentiation.
